Sharon Parkinson

Sharon was born and raised in South Australia and is married to Tony. They have 3 children, Shontelle, Adam & Sally and 2 grandchildren, Scarlett and Ethan. Recently they have become the proud parents of a “furbaby” named Ava.
Sharon has always been surrounded by sewing and craft and having retired from the corporate world she wanted to pursue her dream of owning her own business. In 2006 she purchased her first longarm quilting machine and Patchwork on Parade was established. This has become a very successful business, so much so that an Intelliquilter was added to the first machine and a second machine was purchased in 2010. Patchwork on Parade is in demand for machine quilting and they also run workshops, retreats and an online store.
Sharon was the co-founder of the Australian Machine Quilting Festival which she retired from a few months ago to concentrate on her own business, family and travel. She looks forward to sharing her ideas and successes with you at AMQF 2016.

We look forward to sharing these classes with you:
