Lee Vause

Holding qualifications in nursing, quality and business management and after many years working as a Health Administrator I retired from full time work to focus my endeavors’ into the creative world of fabric art.
I had a clear goal of establishing a small business that was creative, characteristic and of a contemporary nature with the main focus being excellence in teaching and the provision of a productive long arm quilting service. As such in November 2011 Threads and Tangles was formed.
I am a member of a range of Quilters Guilds and am a Victorian Quilters Accredited and Specialist Techniques Teacher, a Certified Zentangle Teacher, a Jenny Haskins Accredited Tutor and a Accredited Paverpol Workshop Trainer.
Since first showing my quilts in 2012 I have been fortunate to have my quilts place well to include Excellence in Domestic Machine Quilting. I have also had number of my quilts to include some zentangle inspired art quilts published in books and magazines.
In summarizing I embrace a contemporary art design focus and mix zentangle inspired art; thread painting, fabric painting with inks, crayons and pencils along with domestic free motion quilting and long arm quilting to create innovative fabric art works under the banner of Threads and Tangles.

We look forward to sharing these classes with you:
